About Mark

Mark Evans is the Co-Founder and Co-Host of the hugely popular The Places We’ll Go marketing show. Started in 2020, the show inspires and educates listeners about successful people’s journeys, recognising that it is rarely ever a straight line. Guests have included the legendary Philip Kotler, Mark Ritson, and Byron Sharp, along with a diverse line-up of business, marketing, leadership and career experts.

In addition to the show, Mark has an extremely busy portfolio career, including: his CMO coaching business; Chair of the School of Marketing and Chair of the Fellowship Alumni at The Marketing Academy; Non-Executive Director of The Marketing Society, and EMMa3D; Board Advisor for Saracens Group, Skating Panda, and The GoodNet; Member of the Accenture Luminary programme; Independent Advisor for HMRC; Trustee at the national youth charity, OnSide; and Founder of the Sprintathon for Stand up to Cancer.

Mark spent more than ten years at Direct Line Group, as Managing Director, Marketing & Digital and Member of the Executive Committee. Prior to this, he was Head of Customer Management, Retail Banking & Wealth Management, UK at HSBC; CEO, 118118 Media UK; and Brand Director, Petcare Europe at Mars.
