Inside our September gatherings for senior marketing leaders

We were delighted to bring together members of our senior marketing leadership community once again for two carefully curated events this September: an intimate CMO dinner on Thursday 24th September, followed by our senior leaders’ breakfast on Friday 25th  September.

September is always an important point in the senior recruitment calendar. As businesses return from the summer, priorities become clearer, plans for the year ahead take shape and conversations around leadership, growth and transformation start to move from planning to action.

Our events provide a valuable opportunity for senior leaders to step away from the day-to-day and have open, commercially focused conversations with peers facing many of the same opportunities and challenges. Across both gatherings, we brought together experienced marketing leaders from FTSE 350, PE-backed and high-growth organisations in a relaxed, confidential and collaborative environment.

Our CMO dinner offered a warm and relaxed setting for candid discussion and peer connection, while Friday’s breakfast was dynamic and high energy, with an opportunity to hear live market insights from our MD & Founder, Suzie Walker, alongside roundtable discussion and networking.

As the market continues to evolve, conversations around commercial and revenue accountability, transformation, AI, leadership capability and the changing demands on senior marketing leaders remain particularly relevant. Just as importantly, these events create space for leaders to share experiences, challenge thinking and learn from one another.

One of the things we value most about bringing our community together is the connection that continues beyond the event itself. Whether it’s a new relationship, a useful introduction, a different perspective or simply the opportunity to reconnect with peers, we hope each gathering leaves our guests with something valuable to take away.

We’re very grateful to everyone who joined us across both events and contributed to such thoughtful and engaging conversations. Here are some kind words from guests:

"There was something rather special about being in such a grand setting with a group of women navigating many of the same challenges at similar stages in their careers. The conversation felt open, thoughtful and refreshingly candid."

"I wanted to say a proper thank you for such a wonderful evening... I had the most fantastic time and what an amazing group of women you brought together! The company was brilliant, and I've already made plans to catch up with a few of the ladies over Teams in the coming weeks."

“Thank you for hosting the breakfast & giving such a clear update of the marketing industry at the present, very much appreciated and a great conversation that followed!”

"Thank you so much for the breakfast this morning! It was great to meet you and a diverse group of fellow marketeers. The discussions were very interesting."

"A pleasure to meet this morning. Thank you for the invitation. I enjoyed the opportunity to meet new faces... I appreciated the insights you offered on the state of market, and the growth imperative."

Our events remain invite-only and thoughtfully curated, bringing together a carefully selected group of senior leaders. If you’re interested in attending a future event, please register as a candidate, or update your details if you’re already registered, and we’ll be sure to invite you to the next relevant event.
