Q&A: Andrew Geoghegan, Chief Marketing Transformation Officer

This Q&A series from Suzie Walker Executive Search shares wisdom and insights from senior leaders for the benefit of both clients and candidates.

About Andrew

Andrew is a transformation leader and the outgoing Chief Marketing Transformation Officer for PZ Cussons, which includes the Carex, Charles Worthington, Cussons Baby, Fudge haircare range, Imperial Leather, Original Source, Rafferty’s Garden, Sanctuary Spa and St. Tropez brands.

This year, Andrew was listed on Marketing Week’s Top 100 Most Effective Marketers - an incredible achievement. Marketing Week said, "He has set about overhauling key brands, such as Carex, making it more distinctive through packaging changes and a new platform. This resulted in Carex gaining 2.6 percentage points value in market share. It now has three times the value of its next biggest competitor."

Prior to his role at PZ Cussons, Andrew spent more than 13 years at Diageo, including the Global Consumer Planning Director; Global Innovation and Planning Director, Guinness; and Consumer Planning Director, Africa roles. For more than five years, Andrew has been an author for Marketing Week and is a Fellow of The Marketing Academy, having completed their distinguished Fellowship Programme in 2020.

A truly astonishing career. Andrew, thank you for joining us.

We hope you enjoy this thoughtful and insightful conversation as much as we did.
