Simon Brady appointed as Head of Marketing at Gatwick Airport

Congratulations to Simon Brady on his appointment as Head of Marketing at Gatwick Airport.

Gatwick is the UK’s second largest airport and the most efficient single-runway airport in the world. It serves more than 228 destinations in 74 countries for over 46 million passengers a year.

Simon joins Gatwick as investment from VINCI Airports puts passengers at the heart of their future plans. They have just completed a project to resurface its main runway, improving resilience, and redevelopment of the airport’s train station is due for completion in 2023. Gatwick has also seen its long-haul network grow, with 40 routes recently announced.

Simon’s extensive experience in brand strategy and global leadership makes him the ideal candidate to support Gatwick with their plans for further growth. His previous roles include Global Paid Media & Campaigns at Virgin Atlantic, Head of Food Brands & Creative Design at Marks and Spencer, Brand Director at Tesco PLC, and more then twelve years at Procter & Gamble.

Suzie Walker, MD & Founder of Suzie Walker Executive Search says, “Congratulations to Simon on his new role at Gatwick Airport. His talent and experience in strategy and leadership make him the ideal person to bring Gatwick’s vision to life, as they embark on this exciting new phase of expansion. We look forward to seeing Simon achieve great things in his new role.”
