It has been such a busy time here at Suzie Walker Executive Search due to an influx of senior leadership roles, covering Head of Marketing, Interim Marketing Director, and Interim CMO, among others, so we’re late to share a write-up about our recent networking event, which was brilliant.
Taking place on Friday 26 April at The Delaunay, London – a favourite venue for guests – we hosted our first ever mixed event for Chief-of senior leaders across marketing, digital and tech. This worked extremely well, as the lines continue to blur across the three functions and there were plenty of complementary insights to share and benefit from.
At the event, we talked about the current recruitment market, which is thankfully growing stronger after a challenging 2023. We also talked about the rise of psychometric testing, which has been requested by all of our clients in recent months. We shared hints and tips on how to prepare and how to present oneself during in-person assessments. It’s a topic that will affect most senior leadership applicants in the months ahead, so we’ll be putting together a more detailed article about psychometric testing, what to expect, and what kind of preparations can be made.
