Margaret Jobling appointed as ISBA President

ISBA - Margaret Jobling - NatWest

Congratulations to Margaret Jobling, Chief Marketing Officer at NatWest, on her appointment as ISBA President.

ISBA's purpose is, "To create an advertising environment that is transparent, responsible and accountable; one that can be trusted by the public, by advertisers and by legislators."

Taking over from Peter Duffy, Chief Executive Officer at Moneysupermarket, Margaret says, “I have worked closely with [ISBA director general] Phil [Smith] and his team over the last few years and seen ISBA transform into a real catalyst for change that is really making an impact. I am really looking forward to making my contribution to this vital organisation,”

Phil says, "Margaret was our first choice as his successor, and I know her passion and experience will bring huge benefit to ISBA."

Margaret has been the Chief Marketing Officer for NatWest Group since 2020. Her experience in FMCG saw her working with some iconic brands, including Lynx, Dove, Radox, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Birds Eye. She then moved to the utilities sector in 2014, as Director of Marketing at British Gas and then Group Chief Marketing Officer at Centrica.

Margaret is an inspiration for women in marketing, paving the way for greater gender parity by reaching changemaking positions in her career. We wish her the very best in her new role at ISBA.
