Interim in 2025 webinar with Suzie Walker and David Moore
We were delighted to welcome senior marketing leaders to our Interim in 2025 webinar last Friday, 17th January, joining Suzie Walker, our MD & Founder, and David Moore, Interim CMO/Marketing Director and Founder of the Interim Development Programme, for a useful and informative session, designed for those who are considering a move into interim roles and for established Interim CMOs/Marketing Directors looking for a fresh approach this year.
David has been an Interim CMO/Marketing Director for 20 years, with assignments across diverse sectors including B&Q, E.ON, RBS, Direct Line Group, 118118, Screwfix and Boden Fashion. Since launching the Interim Development Programme in 2023, David has worked with more than 90 senior leaders in creating a tailored strategic approach to the interim market, improving their ability to secure interim assignments.
In this session, Suzie shared a market update for the year ahead before welcoming David, who shared information about his Interim Development Programme. This included an analysis of the interim sector, along with nine elements of the Programme, five methods to help secure your next interim assignment, and five mistakes often made when entering the sector.
We concluded the webinar by answering some brilliant questions from attendees, including ‘Do you have any tips for transitioning from permanent work to interim work?, ‘How flexible should you be on day rate?’, and ‘90% of my experience is from one sector – how much of a barrier is this when looking for interim roles?’, among several others.
