Career Conversations – with guest speaker Dr Gary Crotaz, PhD
We were delighted to welcome candidates to our most recent breakfast roundtable event, Career Conversations, featuring guest speaker Dr Gary Crotaz, PhD.
These events are organised each quarter to provide candidates with the opportunity to meet our MD and Founder, Suzie Walker, to network with non-competing peers, and to join our roundtable discussion. We were thrilled that Gary could join us to offer his valuable career and mindset insights for the benefit of candidates who are in the process of moving into the next stage of their careers.
Gary is an expert in career change, having trained as a doctor, worked in science, strategy consulting and senior corporate leadership. He has even travelled the world as a professional ballroom dancer! These days, he is an executive strengths and mindset coach and has coached clients in more than 15 countries, activating their unique talents and strengths to achieve ambitious personal and professional goals. He specialises in working with high-performers, from entrepreneurs and sportspeople to C-suite executives and UHNW business owners.
At the event, at The Delaunay, London, Gary provided an overview of The IDEA Mindset, which is his tried-and-tested blueprint for designing your dream career, developed from what Gary learned on his own fascinating journey to career fulfilment. This blueprint forms the basis of his recently published book, which candidates were able to take home and learn from at this important stage in the recruitment process.
Candidates in attendance were from a marketing and digital C-suite background, enjoying lively discussion about the current market, including the challenges and opportunities within their sectors and specialisms. Suzie also offered some expert advice on what clients are looking for and how candidates can make the most of this thriving recruitment market.
